Music in Blue and Pink was inspired by Georgia O'Keefe's painting, "Music in Pink and Blue II" and includes improvisational work by Sam Utah. Here we have Sam's first release, Music in Blue and Pink. Blue for the somber times and pink for the beauty of being alive. The music is etherial yet it is sensual and integrative music that calls to some people and relaxes others. This album includes some of Sam's earliest works and the recordings reflect both the new and old Sam. I like it and Sam plays beautifully. It sure helps me relax and I think it has made me see things differently. Try Sam Utah, he slows things down when you need some "downtime".
